Chembra peak

Chembra Peak is a prominent mountain peak located in the Wayanad district of Kerala, India. It is the highest peak in the Western Ghats range in Wayanad and stands at an elevation of approximately 2,100 meters (6,890 feet) above sea level. Chembra Peak is a popular destination among nature lovers, hikers, and adventure enthusiasts. It is known for its scenic beauty, lush greenery, and picturesque landscapes. Meenmutty Waterfall

The waterfall is situated in the lush green forests of the Western Ghats and is formed by the Meenmutty River cascading down from a height of about 300 meters (984 feet) in three tiers. The name "Meenmutty" translates to "Fish Jump" in the local language, which is derived from the fact that fish can be seen jumping in the water at the base of the falls. To reach Meenmutty Waterfall, visitors need to embark on a moderately challenging trek through the dense forest. The trail to the waterfall is about 2 kilometers long and involves navigating steep and rocky terrain. The trek takes you through a scenic route with lush vegetation, diverse flora and fauna, and gurgling streams, adding to the charm of the experience.
